I was never a fan of online shopping. Why? It is mainly because of the increasing number of cases of online shopping malpractices and deceit. We have heard a lot of negative feedbacks and some traumatic experiences from online shoppers and sellers. It is never an easy task. It is always a risk to do online shopping... It has always been a risk... Add up the anonymity of most online sellers and buyers, one has to really think twice. And though I have personal information publicly available online, divulging other confidential information, such as home addresses and credit card information, is really a big risk.
But... There would always be an exception. There will be a time that one's mind will be enlightened by some strings of events. Luckily, as a Nuffnanger, I got an invite to the grand launch of a recent online shopping haven,
Zalora. I am a proud Nuffnanger and one of my favorite fashion bloggers,
David Guison, is a fan of the craft! Thanks to him, I was able to venture into this new world of online shopping and easily gave in! Add up the different personalities rooting for Zalora, who wouldn't give in? As the one stop online destination for everything "fashionable", I did not think twice of confirming my attendance to their grand launching event after receiving an invite to R.S.V.P.

I was not really keen on joining the Zalora Wishlist blogging contest at first. My attendance to Zalora's awesome Grand Launch last night, May 9, at the Skye Lounge in Bonifacio Global City changed my perspective. Meeting fabulous people, who I think are always in the loop, made me want to shop for Zalora more! The grandeur of the event simply made me in awe. The place is jam-packed with FASHIONABLE people who absolutely know their craft! I enjoyed most the way Zalora presented their hippest collection. That was absolutely fab! I even browsed Zalora's site soon as I arrived home from the event. Their launch was simply a success!

Now, down to my wishlist... Five is an understatement! I literally wanted most of the items I have checked, if that would just be simply possible. But then, I have to trim them down to 5. And as family-oriented person (I am, really!), I thought of choosing one each for my mom and dad, mainly because they deserve these! The other 3 would be for myself, which I think are best for an everyday get-up!

For my first wishlist, I have chosen three tops which I think complement with each other - one each for my mom, my dad and me! As I have said, we have a very close family tie therefore it is just so fitting that I should reward them with something. And I proudly say that these tops describe us best!.
Frankiemumbo's Whoop Ass Men's T-Shirt, with a Big S in the middle just like Superman's, is a perfect tee print for my dad - for he is one hell of a superdad! Everyone, I think, has their own life's adversaries and I admire my dad's way of coping up with each of them. Just like Superman does, he puts in first his family, us, and makes sure that we are at our best and we are given with what we need, prioritizing us first instead of his other needs. Truly, I am blessed to have a Superdad just like my dad. And I hope this will in a way repay him of all the sacrifices he has done to us. Secondly,
Freeway's artwork blouse, by Vicente Manansala himself, graces all mothers out there. The image of a caring mother and a child depicts a very special highlight - the love and care that ONLY a mother can give. As a tribute to the best mom in the world (every mother is at their BEST for sure!), this blouse perfectly suits my mom for being so unselfishly caring and loving to us. And there is no better way in giving back the love and care she cared simply just by making her happy. And I really hope, this fab artwork blouse would bring a special smile to her radiant face (but I know it will. It's the thought that always count! XD). Lastly, I am digging
Area 27's Joker Printed T-Shirt simply because I love The Batman series and I vividly remember the great portrayal of the late Heath Ledger on The Dark Knight series. Sans the dark and eerie side of The Joker, I would say that I am one since I am usually the happy-go-lucky person who gives light to everyone's faces. I love making people smile and brightening up their days in my own simple ways. It is my way of returning favor as to the greatness they have also done to me.

For my next set of wishlist, I am donning my usual daily look - pants and long-sleeved checkered polos. I love longs sleeve polos!!!
Collective.com's purple plaid long sleeve really caught my attention! I love purple tees and polos, and this is just the fit for me. And it comes in a very affordable price - even cheaper than the ones I see on the malls and boutiques! It just made my love for Zalora grew fonder! Way to go guys!!! And for my pants,
Hooked's long pants with striped trim is a perfect combination for my chosen top. It is also a perfect choice for an everyday look! I played along with these two on a graphics editing application and found out that these two blend with each other. I think they are simply perfect and it made me want them both badly!!!

Well, there were sooooo many more items that I was still rooting for but by far, these five are all I NEED (difference between need and want. XD).
